I began to talk about fishing and he couldn't stop smiling. He's loads of fun, but his Tochigi dialect is super thick, Agh =)
Also I want everyone to be remember Samantha Weaver as she leaves tomorrow for her Rotary year to Majadahonda, Spain!! She is going to do marvelously, I just know it. Her blog will be much more precise, well written and humorous than mine, so drop in from time to time: samantharomaweaver.blogspot.com
Hi Sam,
ReplyDeleteFabulous blog! I think you are a journalist in the making! I'm glad all is going well even though the challenges placed in front of you at the beginning were formidable. Good job making your way through everything. Being sick a long way from home can be very hard. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I'll be coming through Japan next month but will just be changing planes. Any words of wisdom you'd like me to share at the Rotary meeting next week? Take care.
Tom
Hi Sam,
ReplyDeleteWe are writing you from the cabin on Sunday night. We are all standing around the kitchen table reading your blog!! We are so glad that you are feeling better. Your host family looks like they could be cabin cousins! We got the dock in without you and Andrew and Kaitlin. Anne and Katherine think that you are lucky but that the dock was not as heavy as you claimed it to be! We miss you and are so glad that you are having such a great experience. We look forward to your next blog. Much love from all of us!
Chuck and
Cabin Family
